Croplands
Quantum Mist™ Sprayers
- Up to 6
- Rows per pass
- 4 per row
- Vineyard heads
Croplands has been manufacturing spray equipment since 1972. We work closely with Croplands to custom build each sprayer around your rows, your canopy and your tractor — so your crop gets the coverage it needs.
Each Quantum Mist™ head is an axial fan that moves air in a corkscrew pattern, pushing spray through the canopy and onto the underside of leaves. Several small heads aimed at each sector of the canopy replace one big blast fan — which is where the savings in horsepower, water and product come from.

1 / 9Why it works
- Reduced horsepower
- Multi-row capability
- Quiet operation
- Improved efficacy
- Greater travel speeds
- Lower RPM
- Targeted air
- Multi-crop application
- Reduced water rates
- Concentrated spraying
- Variable air flow
- Drift reduction
“Better coverage + better efficacy = reduced costs.”

Vineyard sprayer
Built in single, 2, 3 and 4-row configurations and up to six rows at once. Quantum Mist™ also lends itself to retrofitting on most grape harvesters — the hydraulic system of a harvester or tractor is an ideal platform to drive the heads.
- Hydraulic control block — oil distribution, anti-cavitation, relief, test ports, soft start and full air-speed adjustment
- Four hydraulically driven heads per row, each with a 5-blade SARDI fan for high-volume, turbulent air
- Tandem axle for a superior ride; self-steer drawbar for any headland
- Large-capacity 160 L/min (42 gpm) diaphragm pump for full bypass agitation

Orchard tower sprayer
Three Quantum Mist™ heads per side put 24 nozzles on each side of the tree canopy, versus around 10 on a conventional sprayer — more precise application to every sector of the tree, at low volumes and higher ground speeds.
Optional hydraulic wind compensation increases flow to the left or right side with the flip of a switch in the cab. Better coverage also opens the door to lower fungicide and foliar-fertiliser rates.

Quantum Mist™ 5-blade heads
Developed with SARDI: an axial fan head, hydraulically driven and fully integrated in a lightweight, impact-resistant roto-moulded cowl, with fully enclosed sealed bearings. Recessed nozzle mounts hold up to 16 nozzles per head, with integrated fan guards and fully enclosed liquid supply tubing.

Fusion rate control
Our Quantum Mist™ sprayers run Fusion, the rate controller we design and build in-house. Set a target rate and it holds it as your ground speed changes, with target and actual rate, speed, pressure and section status on one screen in the cab.
