Two motor shafts carry stacks of pruning discs turning in opposite directions. A Pradines blade gives a cut comparable to hand shears, and the wood is shredded and falls away, leaving the trellis wires clear.
A slow 80 rpm rotation makes it safer, produces no sawdust to clog the tractor's cooling, and reversible shredding discs last twice as long. Optional wheels or vision systems open automatically around stakes.
